THE COMPANY WAS BORN FROM THE WILL OF ONE MAN : WALTER HUBACHER.<\/p>\n

A Swiss engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit. Finist\u00e8re in Quimper was the location. He founded his company on 7th October 1938, under the name of \u00abBonneterie d\u2019Armor\u00bb and specialised in lingerie and underwear.<\/p>\n

1947 BIRTH OF ARMOR – LUX<\/strong><\/p>\n

THE YEARS OF WAR AND OCCUPATION DID NOT AFFECT WALTER HUBACHER\u2019S CONFIDENCE AND CERTAINTY, EVEN THOUGH THE FACTORY\u2019S ACTIVITIES CAME TO A HALT DURING THIS PERIOD.<\/p>\n

In 1947, the company bought a plot of land on the race track area and a first workshop was built for 50 people. He decided to expand the collections and tackle ready-to-wear. The Armor-lux brand (ARMOR: THE SEA \/ LUX: LIGHT was created.<\/p>\n
